Canada Soccer announced late Wednesday night that the 2023 Canadian Championship final will be played Wednesday, June 7 at Vancouver’s BC Place.
Major League Soccer clubs Vancouver Whitecaps FC and CF Montréal will square off, as the Whitecaps look to defend their title from 2022 and Montréal vie for a seventh.
The Whitecaps earned the right to host the final for a second year in a row by defeating Canadian Premier League side Pacific FC in the semifinal at Starlight Stadium on Wednesday. Montréal, likewise, defeated CPL opposition by downing Forge FC 2-0 at Stade Saputo.
In last year’s final, the ‘Caps lifted the Voyageurs’ Cup for a second time in club history by beating Toronto FC on penalties.
The final will kick off at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on OneSoccer, FuboTV and TELUS channel 980.
