Valour FC today announce that the club has re-signed midfielder Raphael Ohin.
Ohin, 28, returns for his sixth season with Valour FC, originally joining on January 10, 2019 after spending the previous three seasons with WSA Winnipeg of the Professional Development League (PDL), scoring five goals.
“Raph is an important player for this club,” said Head Coach & General Manager Phillip Dos Santos. “He had to fight hard and overcome a lot of adversity over the past couple of years. We believe that he’s fully recovered and ready to help the team reach its objectives.”
Last season Ohin made two appearances before suffering a season-ending injury.
In 2021, the midfielder made 28 appearances, totalling 2,135 minutes played, one goal and two assists.
Before coming to Canada, Ohin played for academy teams in a number of different countries including Switzerland (2010-2011), Thailand (2012), Sweden (2013) and his home country of Ghana (2008-2010).
