FC Edmonton’s CPL home opener against Pacific FC is off to a rocky start.
Philippe Lincourt-Joseph received a straight red by referee Dave Gantar in the 27th minute after a sliding challenge against PFC’s Ryan McCurdy.
The attacking midfielder’s red card was part of a rough-and-tumble first half, which also featured cautions for FCE’s Jeannot Esua and Pacific’s Emile Legault.

The attacking midfielder’s sending off was the peak of a rather chippy affair, which ended in a scoreless draw at Clarke Stadium.
