Things just keep getting crazier here in Hamilton.

Tristan Borges has been shown a red card, putting Forge down to 10 men in the 69th minute. He was sent off for kicking out at Cavalry defender Jay Wheeldon, who found himself on top of Borges after a particularly physical challenge.

Cavalry was already playing with 10 men after Joel Waterman’s sending-off in the first half for a handball in the penalty area. Borges also contributed the game’s only goal so far, scoring just before halftime with a long, curling strike.

The Golden Boot leader will now miss next weekend’s second leg due to suspension.
