Over the 2019 season, CanPL players were given a score from 1-100 for their contribution to matches via data and statistics, with the top average earning the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta GLI by season’s end.

Carducci led for most of the Fall season in the VWPP standings as Cavalry’s no. 1 goalkeeper, ending with an average score of 77.36 points. Several key saves and clean sheets propelled Carducci towards the award over the season.

It was a whirlwind 2019 for Carducci, a 23-year-old native of Calgary. He made history in September as the first CPL player called up to the Canadian men’s national team and won both the Spring and Fall titles with the Cavs on route to an appearance in Finals 2019.
