The 2021 Canadian Championship quarterfinal round was formalized Friday with the fourth and final date revealed by Canada Soccer.

Cavalry FC will host Pacific FC at Spruce Meadows on Wednesday, September 22 as the second all-CanPL tilt has been assigned a home stadium in Calgary.

Forge FC and Valour FC will kick off the quarterfinal stage on Wednesday, Sept. 15 – a week before the other three ties to be played on the 22nd: Cavalry vs. Pacific, HFX Wanderers vs. CF Montreal (Wanderers Grounds) and Toronto FC vs. York United (BMO Field, Toronto). Pacific became the final club to book a spot in the quarterfinal Thursday when they shocked MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps in a 4-3 thriller at Starlight Stadium.

The semi-final round is set to be played in late September with the Voyageurs Cup being awarded in a final to take place between Oct. 19-29.

As a result of quarterfinal matches and Forge FC’s upcoming date with Panamanian side Independiente in 2021 Concacaf League play, the Canadian Premier League has provided an update to the 2021 season schedule presented by WestJet.
