Toronto, ON –  Following a review of the League’s playoff clinch scenarios after Matchweek 24 play, the Canadian Premier League (CPL) determined that neither Cavalry FC nor Atlético Ottawa clinched a berth in the 2024 CPL Playoffs on Saturday, Sept. 21, due to potential tiebreaker implications.

With a tie against Pacific FC on Sunday, Sept. 22, Atlético Ottawa subsequently clinched its place in the 2024 CPL playoffs.

Cavalry FC will clinch a playoff berth with a win or draw against Vancouver FC on Saturday, Sept. 28.

The CPL regrets the error.
