Calgary, AB (August 9, 2022) – Cavalry FC announced on Tuesday that goalkeeper Tyson Farago has decided to retire from professional football.

Cavalry would like to thank Tyson for his time with the club. The goalkeeper joined the club in 2021 and featured in five matches for Cavalry, four of which were clean sheets. Following a car accident in the off-season, Farago has been unable to rejoin the professional environment in a training capacity as he continues his rehabilitation and return to full health.

The club would like to send Tyson its best wishes and support as he continues his recovery.
