Saturday’s Canadian Premier League match between Halifax Wanderers and Atlético Ottawa has been postponed because of forecasted severe weather due to Hurricane Lee.

The clash between fifth-place Halifax and fourth-place Ottawa will now be played on Monday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. AT/6 p.m. ET at Wanderers Grounds.

“The safety of all fans, players, staff and our is our top priority and we ask that everyone follow the direction of local officials,” Halifax Wanderers FC said in a statement on Friday morning.

Monday’s match will be broadcast on OneSoccer.
