Introducing Canadian Premier League Matchday Playlists: Curated collections of songs that reflect the musical taste of the players on the pitch, the fans in the stands and the region the club calls home.

Clubs will release a playlist before every home match playing it in full before kick-off.

The dominating voice of Calgary-born singer Kiesza kicks off Cavalry FC’s Matchday Playlist with dramatic effect. Light, neverending percussion added by Toy Selectah in this remix builds on an already soaring, ambitious number. Kiesza partnered with Djemba Djemba – not be confused with former Manchester United midfielder Eric Djemba Djemba – for the original track in 2015, shortly after the Calgarian’s breakout single, Hideaway, emerged as one of 2014’s biggest hits.
