Norris Jones joins Pacific FC’s front office

VICTORIA – Pacific Football Club added Brad Norris Jones to its management team Friday, revealing the former Victoria HarbourCats GM as executive vice president of operations ahead of the CPL’s inaugural season.

“This is an exciting opportunity to work with Pacific FC as the team and league is just establishing itself in the region and in the country overall,” said Norris Jones. “I have the background in working with sports start-ups and this is a venture like none other.”

Norris Jones, who spent six seasons in management with the HarbourCats, will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Pacific FC.

Pacific’s Westhills Stadium (Langford, B.C.) is currently undergoing renovations to expand to 6,000 seats.

Norris Jones joins former Canadian internationals Josh Simpson and Rob Friend on the executive team as they look forward to bringing a new level of football to Vancouver Island.

“Our goal is to bring a first class football experience to Vancouver Island and Brad’s background and enthusiasm will support us in this venture,” said Simpson. “He’s a great fit to help bring our club into the community.”
