Concacaf revealed on Friday the full schedule for the round of 16 in this year’s Concacaf League competition, including when Canadian Premier League side Pacific FC will play next in the tournament.
Pacific — who will be taking on Costa Rican side CS Herediano — will host the first leg in this home-and-away tie, kicking off on Tuesday, August 16 at Starlight Stadium at 7:00 p.m. PT (10:00 p.m. ET). Following that, the two sides will head to Estadio Ricardo Saprissa in San José, Costa Rica for Leg 2 on Tuesday, August 23 at 5:15 p.m. PT (8:15 p.m. ET).
The winner of this aggregate tie (in which the away goals rule will be in effect) will advance to the quarterfinals for a matchup with either Cartaginés of Costa Rica or Real España of Honduras.
Pacific qualified for this round by defeating Jamaican outfit Waterhouse FC in the preliminary round 6-0 on aggregate, with all six goals coming in the home leg on Vancouver Island this past Tuesday.
Herediano received a bye to the round of 16 due to their seeding in the competition.
