Canada’s men’s national team’s 2019 Gold Cup preparations will have a CPL influence.

Pacific FC midfielder Noah Verhoeven has been included in Gold Cup pre-camp in Los Angeles as a training player.

Canada Soccer welcomed Verhoeven on social media Thursday.

Verhoeven has stood out in the middle of the park for PFC, leading the CPL in passes completed (312) through their first six matches.

Canada opens the Gold Cup on June 15 against Martinique.
