All eight Canadian Premier League clubs are, finally, back on the pitch for closed-door training sessions, with the past week seeing each of them starting to shake the rust off after several long months of isolation. Each team is, of course, still adhering to health protocols and keeping their distance from each other to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Still, at least some sense of normalcy has begun to set in, with each CPL club now back at it for over a week. Here’s what week two of the return to training has looked like around the CPL.

Atlético Ottawa’s goalkeepers have been taking flight the past week…

While coach Mista has kept a close eye.

Forge FC’s David Choinière was showing off his slick footwork at Tim Hortons Field.

As was Chris Nanco…

Across the GTA, York9 FC’s Luca Gasparotto was keeping busy as well.

Cavalry FC coach Tommy Wheeldon Jr. gave us a look inside training in Calgary.

And the Cavs’ Alberta rivals showed us what Chance Carter’s been working on at Clarke Field.

In Winnipeg, José Galan has been delighted to get back on the field.

On the west coast, Pacific FC’s goalkeepers have been helping out on the training ground.
