Cavalry FC got back into the win column with a dramatic 2-1 victory over Forge FC at ATCO Field on Friday night.
Joe Mason scored the opening goal, as he did last time these teams met a couple of weeks ago, and Cavalry would hold that lead for the next 75 minutes. In the 82nd minute, Jordan Hamilton opened his CPL account with a well-placed finish to make it 1-1, but just when it seemed like it was heading to a 1-1 draw, Miki Cantave scored his first CPL goal in the 90th minute to win the match in dramatic fashion.
