Sights & Sounds: Cavalry FC 1-0 Pacific FC

Cavalry FC secured home field advantage for the first round of the 2021 CPL Playoffs on Sunday afternoon, as they defeated Pacific FC 1-0 at ATCO Field.

Joe Mason put the home side in front just 16 minutes in, finishing an excellent cross by Mo Farsi, and from there the Cavs defended well and held a clean sheet against the highest-scoring team in the league.

Pacific, having completed their regular season schedule, will now focus on the next two weeks’ preparation time ahead of their semifinal meeting with either Cavalry or Forge — who play against each other on November 16, in both sides’ final match.

Here are your sights and sounds from Spruce Meadows.
