Atlético Ottawa picked up their first road victory of the season on Sunday afternoon, beating FC Edmonton at Clarke Stadium.
With a famous guest, Alphonso Davies, in attendance to watch his hometown CPL team, The Eddies kept things scoreless until late in the first half, when Brian Wright redeemed himself after an earlier miss to make it 1-0 for the visitors. Ollie Bassett made it 2-0 with the winning goal from the penalty spot, before Tobias Warschewski cut the lead in half with a penalty of his own a few minutes later.
