Forge FC and Cavalry FC played yet another high-octane, entertaining match at Tim Hortons Field on Saturday afternoon, as Forge ultimately emerged victorious with a 2-1 result.
David Choinière put the hosts on the board 10 minutes in with an excellent solo effort, and Aboubacar Sissoko doubled the lead early in the second half.
Cavalry cut the lead to one around the 60th minute thanks to Ali Musse’s strong finish, but the story of the end of the match would be its physical intensity, as three red cards were ultimately handed out — to Forge’s Kyle Bekker and Cavalry’s Joe Di Chiara and Mikaël Cantave — in yet another heated affair between these foes.
Here are your sights and sounds from a riveting afternoon in Hamilton.
