Valour FC moved into a playoff spot with a second-straight 1-0 win over Forge FC at IG Field in Winnipeg.
Brett Levis scored the match’s lone goal, as the hosts secured their third straight clean sheet and fourth spot in the Canadian Premier League table. For Forge, meanwhile, it is their third straight match without a goal, as they sit tied on points with Valour at 36.
New CPL commissioner Mark Noonan was on hand to watch the proceedings, meeting the league’s fans and completing the pre-game coin toss.
