Sights & Sounds: Valour FC 1-0 York United

Valour FC banked their first home win of 2022 on Sunday afternoon in Winnipeg, as they downed York United by a narrow 1-0 scoreline to claim all three points and put themselves into a tie for second place in the league table.

Sean Rea was the hero for the home side, as he scored in the 87th minute with a phenomenal piece of individual skill and a long-distance strike to take the victory, although goalkeeper (and Rea’s fellow CF Montreal loanee) Jonathan Sirois rescued his team not long before with an excellent save on Osaze De Rosario’s penalty kick.

So, it was the hosts who claimed the spoils and celebrated in front of the Trench. Here are your sights and sounds from IG Field.
