Sights & Sounds: Valour FC 1-1 FC Edmonton

Valour FC continued to improve under Phillip Dos Santos on Saturday, but three points continued to elude them as they drew 1-1 with FC Edmonton at IG Field.

Moses Dyer put the hosts in front from the penalty spot early in the first half after he was hauled down on a surging run into the box, and for a while it looked as though Valour might continue to hold control of the contest, but a few halftime changes sparked the Eddies as Tobias Warschewski and Easton Ongaro combined in the second half to equalize.

The Winnipeggers picked up one point in the standings as they chase down the fourth playoff spot, which is valuable knowing York United and HFX Wanderers play each other on Sunday, but they certainly would’ve preferred all three.
