Valour FC announced on Monday that the club has signed Canadian midfielder Jordan Faria.

Faria, 23, joins Valour FC from Toronto FC II (MLS NEXT Pro), where he spent the 2023 season, tallying four goals and four assists in 23 appearances. The midfielder also made one appearance for Toronto FC (MLS).

“Jordan is a versatile attacking midfielder with excellent qualities,” said Valour’s head coach and GM Phillip Dos Santos. “We still believe there’s another gear in him and we are looking forward to helping him maximize his potential.”

Before joining Toronto FC II, Faria spent the 2022 season with Musan Salama (Finland, Second Division), scoring six goals in 22 appearances.

The Brampton, Ontario native returns to the Canadian Premier League, after spending time with York United FC in 2021, where he made 13 appearances, scoring one goal.
