Valour FC signs goalkeeper Jacob Tsai to developmental contract
Valour FC has signed local goalkeeper Jacob Tsai to a developmental contract, the club announced Thursday.
Tsai, 17, joins Valour from Bonivital Soccer Club and arrives after ‘keeper Jonathan Sirois was recalled by MLS side CF Montreal.
Tsai is currently a part of the MSA Residency Prospects Program, a program designated for the top male youth soccer players in the province. In 2020, Tsai was a WYSA U17PR1 League Champion, finishing with a perfect 10-0-0 record. He was also named to the 2021 Canada Summer Games Team Manitoba roster.
