Valour FC will open its training camp for the 2021 CPL season on Monday, May 17, the club announced Thursday.
The club also revealed that it has begun training in “a limited capacity with seven players” at IG Field. A full camp – which will feature signed players, 2021 CPL-U SPORTS Draft picks, and trialists – is set to follow.

Five CPL clubs are currently back training: Pacific FC, FC Edmonton, Cavalry FC, HFX Wanderers, and Atlético Ottawa – the latter of which is currently based in Spain with their parent club Atlético Madrid.
While there is no confirmed start date for a season, CPL commissioner David Clanachan said Wednesday the League is “completely focused and committed” to playing a 2021 season and a further update will be given on May 15.
