Valour FC’s Jonathan Viscosi named Allstate CPL Goalkeeper of the Month for September 2024

The Canadian Premier League announced Thursday that Valour FC’s Jonathan Viscosi has been named the Allstate Goalkeeper of the Month for September 2024.

Viscosi backstopped the Winnipeg club to an undefeated month with a win and three draws, conceding just three goals in four matches. He was named in the Gatorade Team of the Week in both Week 23 and 24 after impressive performances against Halifax Wanderers and York United.

He made 14 saves in total across the four matches, including seven in the draw against Halifax.

The Valour keeper is the fifth different player to win the Goalkeeper of the Month award this season, following Forge’s Chris Kalongo, Vancouver’s Callum Irving, York United’s Thomas Vincensini (twice) and Cavalry’s Marco Carducci.
