GOTM Rayane Yesli

Valour FC’s Rayane Yesli has been named the league’s goalkeeper of the month for June of 2023.

The 23-year-old allowed just four goals in five matches and kept two clean sheets during the month to add to his league-leading total of five. Those shutout efforts came in wins at home over Forge and Vancouver FC.

So far this year, Yesli has made a league-leading 42 saves and has allowed 3.2 fewer goals than expected through 13 starts. Only Pacific FC has allowed fewer goals than Valour’s 12 in 13 matches this season.

Yesli is the third different goalkeeper to be awarded this honour this season, joining Forge’s Triston Henry (May) and Vancouver FC goalkeeper Callum Irving (April).
