Callum Irving of Vancouver FC has been named the Canadian Premier League’s Allstate Goalkeeper of the Month for May 2024.
Irving’s heroics were key to Vancouver FC’s 2-1-1 record during the month, including significant victories over Pacific FC in the Salish Sea Derby and a first-ever win over Forge at Tim Hortons Field. As a result, VFC rose to second in the CPL table.
The 31-year-old made 12 saves during the month, including five in an outstanding performance during a 1-1 draw with Atlético Ottawa on May 12.
