Concacaf president Victor Montagliani joined OneSoccer on Monday evening to discuss his organization announcing its amended qualifying campaign for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, outlining a new and condensed 35-team format.

Montagliani also talked about the implications of the new qualifying format for the Canadian men’s team, and Concacaf’s contingency plans should a second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic force games to be rescheduled.
