Canadian women’s national team head coach Kenneth Heiner-Møller is expecting his side’s upcoming test of sorts against St. Kitts and Nevis in CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying action, telling assembled media in Texas that their first of three opponents will be a “tough nut to crack.”

While all eyes are on Christine Sinclair as she continues to pursue a record-breaking pair of goals to become the all-time women’s soccer top scorer, Heiner-Møller stressed that the job ahead is to book a ticket to Tokyo for the summer games.

“They’ll be ready for us, I know that,” Heiner-Møller offered, of St. Kitts. “But, we’ll also be ready for them.”
