Canadian men’s national team and Pacific FC defender Marcel de Jong signed with the Victoria-based club on Tuesday, bringing a wealth of experience across the Strait of  Georgia from Vancouver Whitecaps.

He spoke to Pacific FC about joining the Canadian Premier League, the importance of the League on Canadian players and staying in British Columbia to compete.
