Canada Soccer announce friendly match against Panama on June 5

Canada Soccer announced today that the Canadian men’s national team will host Panama at Vancouver’s BC Place on Sunday, June 5. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. local time/7 p.m. ET.

It is Canada’s first match since qualifying for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, and is expected to feature a strong lineup that includes the return of Alphonso Davies, as well as Jonathan David, Atiba Hutchinson and Cyle Larin.

This will be the first of three matches in the June window for Canada. They also play at BC Place on Thursday, June 9 against Curaçao in Concacaf Nations League action, before travelling to San Pedro Sula for a match against Honduras on Monday, June 13. All three matches will air live on OneSoccer.

This match will be the first the men’s national team has played at BC Place since March 24, 2019, when they defeated French Guiana 4-1 in Nations League Qualifying action.

Tickets for the match against Panama go on sale Wednesday, June 1 at 12:00 noon PT/3:00 pm ET.
