Living Sky Sports and Entertainment has released another rendering of a proposed soccer stadium in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan that could host a CPL team.
LSSE, owners of exclusive rights to an expansion CPL club in the city, posted a third rendering of the stadium located at Prairieland Park, which hosts such events as the annual Saskatoon Exhibition and Western Canadian Crop Production Show.
?View of the stadium from the West. This concept drawing contemplates removing the roof of the existing North grandstand, which would add more seating capacity!
Lots of discussion about this idea.

Taken from the western side of Prairieland, Thursday’s rendering shows covered stands along the touchlines with a large grandstand facing the South Saskatchewan River.
“This concept drawing contemplates removing the roof of the existing North grandstand, which would add more seating capacity,” LSSE said in a statement.

Previous renderings (posted below) showed depictions of the stadium from a southeast angle.
LSSE said engineers have suggested the stadium adopt a north-south orientation rather than east-west. LSSE’s CPL bid, led by Al Simpson, is contingent on building a soccer-specific stadium that meets League standards.
With a population of 246,376, Saskatoon is the largest city in the province and is the home of the University of Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Rush of the National Lacrosse League, and the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League.

?To our soccer fans: the stadium research at @PrairielandPark is officially underway!?
After investigating both a North/South pitch orientation vs East/West, engineers convinced us that design elements should be based on a North/South. Stay tuned for more in the coming weeks! pic.twitter.com/GeoMvvkn2b
