Pacific FC are bringing back another big name next year from their inaugural campaign.
The club announced Wednesday that attacker Victor Blasco will be returning for the 2020 season.
Blasco, a 24-year-old native of Spain, scored six goals – two from free kicks – and recorded three assists across 25 league appearances this past season.

“Victor can be an exciting, dynamic attacking player fan favourite on his day,” interim Pacific coach James Merriman said. “He has great qualities and we believe he grew a lot on and off the field last season.”
Pacific CEO called Blasco “one of the most exciting players” in the CPL last season.
“We think he has a lot of potential and we are looking forward to seeing what he can do next year,” Friend stated.
A former Whitecaps 2 player, Blasco can play across the front line, offering offensive flexibility to Pacific’s attack. In addition to featuring in the USL, Blasco also spent time at the youth systems of clubs FC Barcelona and UE Cornellà in his native Spain.
Blasco joins Marcel De Jong as the most recent PFC re-signings.
Pacific has re-signed a total of eight players from 2019, including young stars Terran Campbell, Matthew Baldisimo, and Noah Verhoeven.
