Goalkeeper
Chris Kalongo (Forge FC)
Kalongo’s outstanding penalty save on Cavalry’s Tobias Warschewski is a big reason Forge FC came out of Calgary with a point on Sunday. He finished with three saves in total.

Defenders
Max Ferrari (York United)
Ferrari assisted on York’s goal against Vancouver FC on Saturday with a lovely cross into Mo Babouli. He had two good chances to score himself, and completed three dribbles during an active performance down the right flank.
Dan Nimick (Halifax Wanderers)
Nimick stepped up to the spot three times for the Halifax Wanderers on Thursday, scoring two penalties to bring him to five goals on the season. He also completed 44 of 50 passes as Halifax defeated Valour 3-1.
Daan Klomp (Cavalry FC)
Klomp made two huge plays at both ends of the pitch on Sunday, scoring his first of the season on a lovely header before making a brilliant block on Noah Jensen to keep the match tied. He also won five of seven duels, including three of four in the air, during another strong defensive performance.

Themi Antonoglou (Valour FC)
The Valour fullback had a pair of assists this week, first against Halifax on Thursday, and then on Sunday against Atlético Ottawa. That brings him into a tie for the league lead with five on the season.
Midfielders
Kyle Bekker (Forge FC)
Bekker was brilliant in midfield for Forge on Sunday. He hit the post on a long-range effort, created five chances and completed 40 of his 45 attempted passes, 18 of which came in the final third.
Lorenzo Callegari (Halifax Wanderers)
Callegari was superb in the centre of the park against Valour on Thursday, winning possession eleven times. He also made four interceptions, won three tackles, and made 56 of 60 passes during another dominant outing.
Safwane Mlah (Valour FC)
After making his professional debut on Thursday off the bench against Halifax, Mlah scored his first pro goal in his first start against Atlético Ottawa on Sunday. He was quality overall in that match playing in a double pivot with Raphael Ohin, winning seven of 11 duels.

Forwards
Grady McDonnell (Vancouver FC)
The 16-year-old picked up his first professional assist as he set up Alejandro Díaz in the third minute of second-half stoppage time to earn a draw for Vancouver FC. The Irish youth international beat his man down the line, before playing in a lovely low cross for what is a big moment early in his career.

Sergio Camargo (Cavalry FC)
The match changed for Cavalry when Sergio Camargo came onto the pitch for the second half. He won a penalty just a minute after coming onto the pitch, and then set up Cavalry’s opening goal not long after. He created two chances in total, and had four touches in the opposition box.
Rubén del Campo (Atlético Ottawa)
The Atleti striker scored his league-leading eighth of the season to salvage a draw for top-of-the-table Atlético Ottawa against Valour on Sunday. He had three shots in total, with several chances to add to that tally as well.
