Josh Heard will be returning to Pacific FC for the 2022 Canadian Premier League season. Heard established himself as the club’s first-choice left winger last season, finishing with five goals and two assists in all competitions in 2021. The Victoria-raised 27-year-old provided plenty of moments of brilliance last year. His Man of the Match performance in the victory over Vancouver Whitecaps was highlighted by his composed finish for the team’s third goal of the match as well as his steely determination to poke the ball to Manny Aparicio for his goal and come away with the assist. The former Victoria Highlander is well-loved on the Island and will be back to grow on last season’s performances and help the club defend its Canadian Premier League title.
Heard joins the growing list of returning players announced already. The remaining PFC returnees will be announced in the coming weeks.
