After missing the conclusion of last year’s Championship-winning year through injury, Pacific FC star Marco Bustos has wasted no time reminding the league of his immense talents.
Bustos was named the Canadian Premier League Player of the Month after putting up a league-leading four assists during April. This included breaking a Canadian Premier League record for assists in a single match when he set up all three goals that Pacific scored against Valour on April 17.
His opening assist of that match, in particular, will live long in the memory as he cleverly used the outside of his boot to find teammate Manny Aparicio in the box.
