Comprehensive from start to finish, the Champs won at home in style on Wednesday night as Forge FC took down Atletico Ottawa 4-0 at Tim Hortons Field.
Returning to the starting lineup for the Hammers, Daniel Krutzen opened the scoring from the spot after Tristan Borges was taken down in the Ottawa area. Forge rookie Woobens Pacius would add a brace for the hosts, his first two career professional goals, before Chris Nanco would provide a fourth for the local supporters in stoppage time.
Forge next host York United on Saturday (4 pm ET), while Ottawa heads back to TD Place this weekend as they welcome HFX Wanderers to the nation’s capital on Sunday (1:30 pm ET/2:3o pm AT). Watch all matches live on OneSoccer.
