On this fifth edition of CanPL.ca’s Black History Month Conversations series, Jordan Wilson sits down with Pa-Modou Kah, a 2021 CPL champion as Pacific FC coach and now an assistant with MLS side Charlotte FC.

Kah, whose name has already popped up in this series as a figure who has inspired many players across the Canadian soccer landscape, discusses all sorts of topics in an engaging and inspiring chat. The former Pacific boss goes into detail on his own personal history, from his upbringing in the Gambia to his experiences as a Black player in Norway and Sweden.

Plus, the pair go on to discuss opportunities in Canadian soccer for Black coaches and how Kah can help open the door for more.
