Canadian Premier League soccer is back and it’s coming to Winnipeg.
The league announced on Saturday how the start of the 2021 season will look with “The Kickoff” — a bubble environment in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Each club will play eight matches in the bubble, before hopefully returning to their home markets after the bubble ends on July 24th.
Coast-to-coast, fans of the league are excited for the return of the CPL. Here’s what people are saying on Twitter.

It is awesome that the CPL is moving forward with a plan to get its teams playing this summer. Can’t wait (and feeling super excited about the possibility of seeing soccer back at Spruce Meadows at some point later in the year). https://t.co/5BiZT5kenv
