All on-field disciplinary matters for the Canadian Premier League (CPL) are overseen by Canada Soccer, pursuant to its Disciplinary Code and Professional Soccer Club Disciplinary Annex.
The following players are now facing suspension, which have been determined and issued by Canada Soccer, after the 23nd week of play in the 2024 CPL regular season:
- Daan Klomp, Cavalry FC
- Reason for suspension: Yellow Card Accumulation
- Sanction: One-game suspension (Friday, Sept. 20 at York United FC)
- Daniel Parra, Forge FC
- Reason for suspension: Yellow Card Accumulation
- Sanction: One-game suspension (Saturday, Sept. 21 at Vancouver FC)
- Vasco Fry, Vancouver FC
- Reason for suspension: Yellow Card Accumulation
- Sanction: One-game suspension (Saturday, Sept. 21 vs. Forge FC)
The following players are one caution away from a one-match suspension for yellow card accumulation, after the 23nd week of CPL play in 2024:
- Luke Singh, Atlético Ottawa
- Ballou Tabla, Atlético Ottawa
- Diego Gutiérrez, Cavalry FC
- Bradley Kamden, Cavalry FC
- Nana Ampomah, Forge FC
- Alessandro Hojabrpour, Forge FC
- Marco Domínguez-Ramírez, Pacific FC
- Joshua Heard, Pacific FC
- Raphael Ohin, Valour FC
- Paris Gee, Vancouver FC
- Orlando Botello, York United FC
- Oswaldo Leon, York United FC
Per Canada Soccer’s Good Behaviour Incentive, when a player plays in five consecutive league matches, either as a starter or a substitute, without receiving a yellow card or red card or other discipline sanction, the player’s yellow card accumulation total will automatically be reduced by one yellow card.
