Dylan Sacramento on OneSoccer Hangout: ‘I’d 100% love to go back to the CPL’

Tuesday’s OneSoccer Player & Pundit Hangout session featured former Valour FC midfielder Dylan Sacramento.

In talking to OneSoccer hosts Kurt Larson, Oliver Platt and Asa Rehman, Sacramento discussed Valour’s challenging 2019 CPL season, its difficulties at times in playing on the big pitch at IG Field, and playing for his hometown club in Winnipeg.

“There wasn’t a cohesiveness in the group that allowed us to be on the same page during games,” Sacramento said of Valour’s on-field woes last season.

Sacramento was also asked about leaving Valour last October to go on loan with Hawke’s Bay United in New Zealand.

“I felt important in that team. I had four assists in those eight games, and I’d be second or third in the league in key passes,” Sacramento said about his brief stint in New Zealand.

Other topics discussed on OneSoccer’s Player & Pundit Hangout included Sacramento’s status with his current club (Irish outfit Galway United), the differences between playing in Canada and Europe, whether he would ever come back to the CPL, and much more.

“I’d 100 per cent love to go back to the CPL. I love what the CPL is doing and what it stands for,” Sacramento offered.
