On Wednesday, Forge FC midfielder Tristan Borges was named the Canadian Premier League’s Player of the Month for April 2024.

The 25-year-old has put together a historic start to the season, with two goals and three assists, he has more goal contributions (five) than any player has previously managed through the first three match weeks of a Canadian Premier League season. Forge, meanwhile, have won all three of their CPL matches to start the season.

Through the first month of the 2024 campaign, he also leads the league in chances created (nine), and successful passes ending in the final third (55), further underlining his involvement in the lethal Forge attack.

For his efforts, Borges has been included in all three Gatorade Teams of the Week thus far this campaign.
