There were four set-piece goals, and two apiece for HFX Wanderers and Cavalry in Halifax on Sunday.
The 2-2 draw saw Myer Bevan’s first Canadian Premier League goal cancelled out by Akeem Garcia in the first half, while an injury-time effort from Daan Klomp nullified what looked to be the game-winning goal from Samuel Salter.
Despite Halifax’s incredible home atmosphere and record, where they have only lost four times in CPL action, Cavalry remains undefeated at Wanderers ground.
