Atlético Ottawa completed their regular season schedule on Sunday evening at TD Place, as they drew 2-2 with York United.
The hosts — also celebrating their title as 2022 regular season champions — drew first blood 25 minutes in, as Maxim Tissot buried a rebound from Ballou Tabla’s shot to make it 1-0. Shortly before halftime, it was Brian Wright who picked one out of the air to score and make it 2-0 for Ottawa.
York did find a goal of their own in the second half, as Osaze De Rosario headed in his 12th goal of the season to cut the lead in half, and then Jordan Wilson equalized with just 10 minutes left as the two sides shared points.
