In their first-ever visit to ATCO Field, Atlético Ottawa made sure it was one to remember, snatching a crucial 3-0 win over Cavalry FC to re-take top spot in the CPL Standings.
Paced by goals from Keven Alemán, Brian Wright and Ollie Bassett, Ottawa managed to overcome a red wave of Cavalry pressure throughout the game, doing well to be clinical on the day when their chances came up.
Even despite having to survive a lengthy weather delay at half time, Ottawa ensured that at the end of the day, they’d emerge victorious, continuing their strong run of form historically over Cavalry, as well as regaining their spot atop the table.
