Cavalry FC finished the 2022 regular season on a winning note as they defeated Pacific FC 1-0 at Spruce Meadows.
The match’s lone goal came from Ben Fisk, his first of the season, in the 89th minute. Cavalry keeper Marco Carducci had his league-leading 10th clean sheet of the year in the victory.
With the win, Cavalry moves up into second place in the league. Their final position, as well as who they will play in the 2022 CPL playoff semifinals next weekend, depends on the result of tomorrow’s match between Forge FC and HFX Wanderers at Tim Hortons Field.
