Pacific FC moved into second place on Wednesday night as they defeated Forge FC 1-0 at Tim Hortons Field for their third consecutive win.
The Tridents set a club record by recording their 46th point of the season, thanks to a 60th-minute goal from Jordan Brown to put them over the edge.
Now, heading into the final weekend, Pacific remain alive in the hunt for the regular season title, while Forge will look to return to the top two to get home field advantage for the playoffs.
