Forge FC’s winning streak came to a halt at home on Wednesday, as Valour FC completed a perfect two-game Ontario road trip with a 1-0 win.
William Akio was the game’s lone goalscorer, as he got on the end of a Sean Rea pass in the second half to put the visitors ahead, and Valour went on to defend well for the final half-hour en route to an impressive clean sheet win over one of the league’s most in-form teams.
