Atlético Ottawa picked up their first-ever win at Starlight Stadium, and picked a great time to do it, winning 2-0 to open their 2022 CPL semifinal tie against Pacific FC.
Ballou Tabla and Zachary Verhoven both scored late in the match to stun the hosts after yet another excellent away performance from Atleti. They now head home to Ottawa next Sunday with a significant advantage.
