Sights & Sounds: Pacific FC 2-1 HFX Wanderers

Pacific FC maintained their perch atop the CPL standings on Saturday, picking up a gritty 2-1 victory over the HFX Wanderers at Starlight Stadium, giving them a perfect nine out of nine points to start the season.

Thanks to a late penalty from Pacific’s Alejandro Diaz, which would stand as the winner after Manny Aparicio and Cory Bent traded goals in the first half, that’d allow Pacific to cap off a memorable home stand to start the season.

Despite a resolute effort from the visitors, the Wanderers, who gave the hosts everything that they could handle, Pacific would get the last laugh on the afternoon, allowing them to continue what has been a strong start to their 2021 ‘North Star Shield’ title defence.

Here are your sights and sounds from Pacific FC versus HFX Wanderers.
